Bryan Welch’s passion for the arts has been with him since he was young. He is a graduate of the High School of Art & Design in New York City, of which Joe Madureira is also an alumnus. In 2001, he was accepted to the Job Kubert School for Cartooning and Graphic Art, taught by greats such as Joe Kubert and Sergio Cariello, alongside other artists like David Nakayama and Cory Smith. To round out his education, he also attended three years at the Fashion Institute of Technology and attended several art-related conferences nationwide.
Bryan has been a freelance artist for over twenty years. Outside of comics, he has done graphic design and illustration for the NYC Department of Education, Giant Step Records, Old Navy, and various uncredited spot graphics throughout his career, He has spent the past several years in the realms of TV/Film productions and eventually became a Supervisor for the Walt Disney Company.
Bryan is now working to reignite his art career, with the added special skills and background he’s gotten through his varied work experiences. He assures me, it's all a part of a story.
